Ambassadors from Sheraton Grande Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort preserve the environment by planting mangrove trees at Baan Leam Sai, Phuket
Over 25 Ambassadors, including the resort's General Manager, Klaus Christandl and students from Baan Leam Sai School and Baan Paa Cheep School participated in planting mangrove trees which are known to create one of the most important coastal ecosystems and are utilized as a renewable resource. Prior to planting mangrove trees, the students and ambassadors of Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket were guided by Khun Sombat Kanchanapaiharn, the specialist from the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, Phuket who facilitated a mangrove lecture about the significant importance of mangroves.
